Environmental responsibility
Nikatis has placed ecological responsibility at the heart of its exhibition operations.
Nikatis is committed to putting environmental protection at the forefront of all its exhibition and operational activities. Our philosophy is that every exhibition project should be a positive step towards conserving resources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and promoting a culture of sustainability.
• Energy efficiency and renewable energy
Our showrooms use highly efficient lighting and office equipment to reduce energy consumption, as well as smart systems that monitor and analyze energy consumption in real time to control and optimize consumption. Our goal is to achieve at least 50% of our offices and showrooms' energy consumption from renewable sources (such as solar or wind) within the next three years.
• Waste and consumables management
In our exhibitions, waste separation at source is carried out in cooperation with reputable contractors, and more than 90% of exhibition waste is separated and recycled. Consumption is also minimized by using reusable materials, including carpets and recyclable, long-lasting booth construction equipment.
• Sustainable transportation
At each exhibition, we encourage participants and visitors to use public transportation by providing complete information on metro and bus routes, collaborating with the municipality and allocating special parking spaces for low-energy vehicles, including electric cars and bicycles. We also help reduce commuting and emissions by implementing smart traffic management on booth construction days.
• Construction of modular and recycled stands (Green Stands)
We strive to reduce the carbon footprint of production and transportation by designing and implementing reusable and modular booths. Working with suppliers with standards such as FSC and ISO 14001. Working with environmental organizations to continuously review and improve projects, emphasizing the shortest route for transporting equipment using warehouse centers close to the event site are the most important principles of our environmental sustainability.
